Ramada by Wyndham Podgorica

The desk staff is incredible. Incredibly caring, conscious, friendly, and helpful. The night shift receptionist remembered what I mentioned casually in the chat, that the next morning I would be leaving at 6:30 for the airport - and when I didn't show up in the lobby at this time, he gave me a call to ensure I woke up. And when I went downstairs, I found a takeaway breakfast box for me, as the hotel breakfast begins at 7am and I was missing mine. I didn't order the takeaway, he thought of this himself. All that was so sweet! This is what I call excellent service and customer care!

This was my third overnight stay in this first class hotel when flying into Podgorica airport. On this occasion, the room I have had on my previous stays was unavailable, being refurbished. So, the manager upgraded me to a "Grand Suite" which was exactly that An enormous living area with an open plan kitchen area; a very large bedroom equipped with a jacuzzi; a separate en suite shower room plus an additional washroom. And, a really good sized sunny balcony overlooking the boulevard. The hotel has an excellent location, attached to a shopping mall and within easy walking distance from the bus and railway stations . As with previous visits, I and friends enjoyed a meal and drinks in the outside area of the casual Lobby Bar. As with nearly every other hotel in which I have stayed during my fifteen visits to Montenegro, the staff is exceptional. The reception had organised a taxi to collect me from the airport at a very reasonable flat rate of 10€. My cases were stored, free of charge, in the luggage room until I was ready to leave. I intend to return very soon.

The hotel is a 5/10 minute walk into the centre of Podgorica and the same to the bus and railway station. The staff (reception, breakfast, restaurant and room cleaning were all very pleasant and friendly. The reception staff were particularly helpful). The room allocated was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast selection was fine with a selection of hot and cold options. See comment below. I ate on 3 occasions in the caffe / restaurant and the food was very good and reasonably priced. I would recommend the hotel if family or friends were visiting Podgorica.

This was my fourth stay so I know what to expect from this hotel and will return. I tried a "Queen Suite" on this overnight stay, a beautiful room but a little dark. Personally I prefer an Executive Twin room and will book that next time, hopefully soon!

We have really enjoyed helpful staff. the lovely guys at the reception and at the breakfast in the restaurant. We are happy with the cleanliness with the breakfast, with the quality of the bed. The view from the roof top its nice. The city is walkable from the Hotel. The cocktails are yummi's. The shopping center is useful direct to the hotel.
